Overview

Rudolph Technologies is seeking highly skilled Software Engineer with 2 or more years of experience to join a dynamic team building the next generation of Semiconductor inspection and metrology systems. We are seeking individuals with excellent C#/C++ skills along with working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English. The software engineer position is responsible for the full lifecycle of software development, from gathering requirements specifications from internal and external customers, all the way through analysis, design, implementation, unit testing, and support of internal and external customers. This position provides training opportunities in the US. 

Responsibilities

  • Design, document, implement, test and maintain software for Rudolph Technologies' semiconductor wafer inspection tools.
  • International travel to support customers in Taiwan and other Asian countries.
  • Participate in product requirements definition with peers, customers, management, and marketing.
  • Estimate and develop software on schedule and with high internal and external quality.
  • Understand and operate complex inspection and metrology systems.
  • Collaborate and communicate with local and remote offices.

Qualifications

  • BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years of strong hands on experience with C++/C#.
  • Excellent software design and development skills.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent teamwork and good communication skills
  • Desired:
    • Semiconductor industry exposure.
    • SECS/GEM Automation experience.
    • Experience controlling hardware devices from software.
    • Experience with Image acquisition and/or image processing.
    • Experience with database design and development, preferably MS SQL.
